NY21 Virtual Platform Access

NY21 STARTS THIS WEEKEND!

In order to access the virtual conference platform, you must be pre-registered for the conference. Registration closes on Friday, January 22nd at 1PM EST. Due to the nature of the virtual event, there will be no onsite registration.

Below is all of the information you will need to attend the NY21 Virtual Clinical Conference, including platform access, CECH credit information, and tips for navigating the platform.

Please read through this message in its entirety so you have a complete understanding of all aspects of accessing and participating in the conference.

NY21 PLATFORM ACCESS

To access the virtual platform, you will need the email that you registered for the conference with. If you are unsure of which email you registered with, please contact our customer support team at 774-247-4037 or at NYClinicalConference@xpressreg.net.

We recommend logging in to your virtual conference account prior to the start of the conference to avoid technical difficulties the day of.

CECH CREDIT ATTENDANCE VERIFICATION

In order to receive credit for all live-streamed general lectures, you must complete the attendance verification for each block listed below (4 per weekend). There has been some confusion over this since at past conferences you have only needed two badge scans.

The attendance verification will pop up on the lecture screen during the last 15 minutes of the scheduled lecture block. For example, the first attendance verification on Day 1 will pop up at approximately 10:15am (15 minutes prior to the end of the lecture block at 10:30am).

Lectures listed with an asterisk (*) are not available for on-demand viewing.

If you miss a particular live-streamed lecture block, you will be able to watch the on-demand version of the block starting the following Monday through the end of the conference on Sunday, February 21, 2021. More information regarding viewing options can be found here.

At the end of the conference, in order to receive your CECH Letter, you will be required to complete an overall evaluation of the conference. More information regarding the evaluation will be sent out to all attendees at the end of the conference.

NAVIGATING THE VIRTUAL CONFERENCE

Once you have logged in to the virtual platform, you will notice that each day is split into tabs. Currently, only Weekend 1 tabs are shown. More tabs will appear each week of the conference. To view programming for that particular day, click on the respective tab.

When you log in on the day of a live-streamed lecture, you will automatically be directed to that day's tab.

To join a particular lecture block, click on the green Launch Viewer button at the start time of the lecture:

Attendees will be able to communicate with each other on the Session Viewer page in the Chat. Attendees will also be able to send questions to speakers during the sessions through the Q&A tool on the Session Viewer page.
