I saw a patient and he presented with 10 thick gray toenails plus a pyogenic granuloma 3rd toe left;I debrided all.How is this billed?Can you bill 11720 if the secondary diagnosis is pyogenic granuloma(the granuloma bled a lot and I used AGN03 to stop it)
The removal of the Pyogenic granuloma CPT 17250 (chemical cauterization of granulation tissue) with T2 mod appended and ICD-10 L98.0
If the patient presents with any conditions under the LCD policy such as onychomycosis and pain then you may bill 11720/11721.
