The Ohio Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) of the Year Award will be presented at the 2012 Conservation Tillage Conference on March 6 in Ada,Ohio. The state award includes a plaque, recognition in industry publications, and a $1,500 cash award from the agronomic industry.
The Ohio CCA of the Year Award is given annually through the Ohio CCA Program to recognize an individual who is highly motivated; who delivers exceptional customer service for farmer clients in nutrient management, soil and water management, integrated pest management and crop production; and who has contributed substantially to the exchange of ideas and the transfer of agronomic knowledge within the Ohio agricultural industry.
The CCA Program received 12 nominations from farmers around the state for the 2012 award. The top three candidates will be recognized at the conference on March 6, at which time the winner will be announced for the first time.
