Members in the grain, grain processing, feed and feed ingredient manufacturing sectors are encouraged to register for the Grain Grading Handling Regional Safety Seminar, which is provided through a partnership among the Ohio AgriBusiness Association, the National Grain and Feed Association and the Indiana Grain and Feed Association.
The seminar will be held in Indianapolis, IN on June 5 and 6 and will focus on the key requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) grain handling safety standard [29 CFR 1910.272], including its provisions on housekeeping, confined space entry, electrical, fall protection and personal protective equipment. In addition, the first half-day of this workshop will include a presentation on how to prepare for an OSHA inspection.
