Do you know someone that has given extra time or contributed in some special way to the crop protection industry? Take a few minutes before July 13 to nominate him/her for the 2012 Mid America CropLife Association (MACA) Awards.
Ruth White Media Criteria:
Demonstrated evidence of consistent, objective and accurate reporting on American agriculture and the myriad of issues involved in modern agriculture, including the crop protection industry. Evidence of an understanding of the broad spectrum of activities involved in production agriculture – cultural, political, scientific, educational, economics, global, etc.
Educator of the Year Criteria:
Demonstrated evidence of significant contributions to American agriculture, especially in MACA region. Published works, documented public appearances, region-wide recognition, evidence of consistency in educating the public on the values of production agriculture.
Industry Vision Criteria:
Demonstrated evidence of a distinguished career devoted to promoting and protecting the interests of all the crop protection industry supporting American and Midwestern agriculture. Evidence of leadership roles within his/her company and in other industry-wide organizations may include work in such as groups such MACA, CropLife America, state associations, etc. Should be selected from MACA “core” membership (that is, basic manufacturers or distributors), but not necessarily limited to the Midwest.
Ambassador of the Year Criteria:
Demonstrated evidence of promoting the crop protection industry to students or consumers. Evidence to include a listing of schools or events where presentations were made, topic and response of students and teacher or consumers.
