This year’s Ohio AgriBusiness Association (OABA) Educational Trust Golf for Scholarships early scramble on Wednesday was a huge success. One hundred and twelve golfers came together at the Deer Ridge Golf Club in Bellville to support the Educational Trust scholarship fund. (Click the story title above to read the full article.)
For the early outing, we had a 30 percent increase in registrations – thank you to those who came out to golf, and to our hard-working committee members (see below) for making this happen! Late Scramble – August 15; Honoring Gary King
Be sure to register for the late scramble, which will take place on August 15 at the Shelby Oaks Golf Club in Sidney. During the late outing, we’ll be honoring Gary King, so come out to support Gary and his commitment to the Ohio AgriBusiness Association, and the industry as a whole! The late scramble will also feature a great deal of impressive auction items – stay tuned this summer for specific items that will be raffled. The Golf for Scholarships outings are so crucial because they are the primary fund-raising activities for the Ohio AgriBusiness Association (OABA) Educational Trust scholarship program, through which nearly $35,000 in scholarship dollars is provided to students enrolled in an agriculture-related field attending The Ohio State University and OSU Agricultural Technical Institute, Clark State Community College and Wilmington College.
