Sustainability Account Manager

Land O’Lakes

 

Position Purpose:

The Sustainability Account Manager is responsible for account management activities with Owners participating in the Land O’Lakes SUSTAIN initiative. This includes representing and understanding the SUSTAIN value proposition and strategy to pursue new market opportunities for the initiative.

Description

The Corporate division encompasses the core operational support for all Land O’Lakes businesses. It includes Corporate Strategy, Corporate Communications, Land O’Lakes Foundation and Community Relations, Finance, Law, Member Relations, Facilities, Event Strategy, Security, Human Resources, Information Technology, Corporate Marketing and Government Relations.

Qualifications (Required):

  • 4-year degree in related Ag field required
  • Minimum of 5+ years of previous experience in sales, marketing, or sustainability in the crop inputs agricultural industry
  • Extensive experience or skills/knowledge of agronomy

Competencies-Skills (Required):

  • Proven ability to operate in an account management role (including strong organization management skill set)
  • Strong business acumen; ability to align objectives with the overall business strategy of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with and influence business leaders and customers
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong presentation delivery skills
  • Ability to manage conflict resolution
  • Ability to work well with cross functional counterparts and build trusted relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
