Safety Coordinator – Agricultural Industry

Position Overview: This position is designed as a professional role, requiring previous experience with ag safety and compliance.
The primary job responsibilities of the Safety Coordinator are to provide safety and regulatory guidance, perform observations, scheduling and providing training, investigating incidents, ensuring policies are followed. Working with the Animal Nutrition’s division’s HACCP compliance and quality control programs will require an existing knowledge of regulations and OSHA policies.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in agricultural safety, environmental health & safety, and/or agricultural regulations. Field safety experience is required.
- Must be knowledgeable about OHSA requirements and food safety standards and regulations.
- Valid, clean driving record: 50-80% of this role will be on location and require traveling during the day.
- Must be a self-starter, ability to prioritize, as well as follow projects through to completion.
