Agribusiness Industry Golfs to Support Ohio's Agricultural Students
Register for August outing by July 24 for early registration discount
In midst of coronavirus restrictions, OABA members came out in full force to support Ohio's agricultural students at the June 17 Golf for Scholarships event. While maintaining social distancing, nearly 80 golfers from across the agricultural community enjoyed a beautiful day in the sunshine at the Deer Ridge Golf Club in Bellville.
The Educational Trust fund supports scholarships for Ohio agricultural students at The Ohio State University and Ohio State ATI, Central State University, Clark State Community College and Wilmington College. More than $45,000 is awarded in scholarships each year due to events like the Golf for Scholarships scramble.
Thank you to those who came out to golf, to our generous event sponsors, plus our lunch sponsors, contest sponsors, hole sponsors, and to our committee members for all your continued hard work. This year we also want to say a special thank you to our virtual golfers, who couldn't attend the outing, but made a symbolic donation to support Ohio's agricultural students.

Honoring Mike Stricker on August 19
Be sure to register by July 24 for the early-bird discounted rate for the August outing at Shelby Oaks Golf Club in Sidney. During the event, we’ll be honoring Mike Stricker, Sunrise Cooperative, so come out to support Mike's commitment to the industry!
The late scramble will also feature a raffle drawing for a $500 Cabela's Gift Card (sponsored by Tri Ag Products) and a pair of OSU v. Michigan football tickets.
