The American College of Emergency Physicians has appointed Dr. Robert Broida as an Alternate Representative to The Joint Commission Hospital Professional Technical Advisory Committee (PTAC). In addition to being active in National ACEP, Dr. Broida is also currently serving as Treasurer of the Ohio Chapter.
The Joint Commission is a non-profit organization that independently accredits and certifies health care organizations and programs across the United States. PTACs are advisory bodies comprised of experts from various professional organizations which help The Joint Commission fine tune their standards for accreditation.
