Our thanks to Ohio's 41,000 EMS providers!
May 17-23 commemorates National EMS Week, bringing together local communities and emergency medical personnel to promote safety and honor the dedication of those who provide the day-to-day lifesaving services on medicine's "front line."
Although the 20th Ohio EMS Star of Life Awards celebration has been postponed until further notice, ITLS Ohio would like to recognize the heroic lifesaving work of our frontline emergency personnel throughout the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The theme "EMS STRONG…" exemplifies the more than 41,000 in Ohio who provide an essential community service every day. This theme is even more evident when witnessing the sacrifices that Ohio’s first responders and emergency medical personnel have made during the nation’s fight against the current COVID-19 pandemic. Our thanks for the daily sacrifices made by EMS providers 24/7/365 to improve the level of care for Ohioans.
