R. Bruce Manwaring - February 22, 1962 - September 25, 2021

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the untimely passing of Bruce Manwaring. He was a huge supporter of our industry and he will be greatly missed 

Bruce Manwaring, 59, passed away September 25, 2021. He was born February 22, 1962, in Massillon, Ohio to Louise and the late Robert Manwaring. Bruce was an exceptional father, son, brother, and friend. He was someone you could always count on. Bruce enjoyed his work and genuinely cared about his customers. He raised two grateful, strong, and independent daughters alongside their mother (Beth Manwaring). His daughters were the center of his world, and he took great pride in the women he raised them to be. If Bruce wasn't working or lending a helping hand to anyone in need, you would find him fishing, hunting, and constantly working on new projects around his home and on his boat. He provided his family and friends with a lifetime of love that will continue to live on even after his passing. Bruce is survived by his loving daughters, Caitlyn (Daniel Massey) and Lindsay (Nicholas Herbert) Manwaring; mother, Louise Manwaring; brother, Joe (Rose) Manwaring; sisters, Ann (Neil) Fritz, Linda Manwaring, Mary Beth (Patrick) Cavalier, Laurel (Tony Stopar) Korth; and dear friends, Roy (Susan) Brown and Tom (Andrea) Funk. He was also adored by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends along the way. Funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Road, Akron, Ohio 44319 with Pastor Erv Urschitz officiating. Family and friends may call on Friday from 3 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Caitlyn or Lindsay to help with Bruce's medical expenses.
