Registration Now Open for OAMES July 20 State Webinar

OAMES is hosting a timely webinar on Tuesday, July 20, at 10-11 am titled “News You Need to Know on State Legislative & Regulatory Developments” to bring members the latest information on several state issues affecting Ohio’s home medical equipment providers.  The program will feature Michelle Fitzgibbon, President of The Fitzgibbon Group, and OAMES government relations consultant, as well as OAMES president Andy Willhelm with Advanced Medical Equipment.

The webinar focuses on state issues affecting HME providers and small businesses and includes a breakdown of Ohio’s new operating budget bill, signed by Governor DeWine on Wednesday evening, along with other major legislation before the Ohio General Assembly and OAMES’ efforts on patient choice initiatives.  We will also review the status of the Ohio Department of Medicaid’s “Next Generation” managed care program including MCO procurement launch and preparations underway for implementation in early 2022.
