PUCO Commissioner Howard Petricoff steps down after Senate rejection
Longtime Columbus energy lawyer Howard Petricoff has resigned from the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio after a Senate committee rejected his appointment by the governor.
Petricoff, a Democrat, had faced criticism from Republican lawmakers since Gov. John Kasich, a Republican, appointed Petricoff to the influential agency in June.
