Cox opens retail store in Portsmouth
Cox Communications cut the ribbon on its largest Solution Store in the country Jan 28.
Located at 1601 Frederick Blvd. in Portsmouth, the state-of- the-art, 4,000-square-foot store is a $1 million investment, Cox said in a news release. The company said the store is part of the $535 million overall economic impact Cox made in Hampton Roads last year.
At the store, customers can experience and purchase Cox products and services and receive expert help.
“Our new Solutions Store is a demonstration of Cox’s commitment to bring the best products and services available to the Hampton Roads region,” said J.D. Myers II, Cox’s senior vice president and region manager. “In an environment of rapidly evolving technology, it’s important that our customers experience the full capability of their services, and our Solutions Stores give consumers that opportunity."
