Julie Jones, MS, RD, LD

Julie Jones has been a member of the American Dietetic Association for more that 25 years. She has served in leadership capacities for the Columbus Dietetic Association, the Ohio Dietetic Association and other healthcare foodservice management groups. She has made continuing contributions in the area of reimbursement for medical nutrition therapy and has been an advocate at the state level and has served on the committee that determines food service law for Ohio. Julie is recognized nationally in her field of practice, healthcare foodservice management. She has presented programs at local, state and national meetings. She has also served in leadership roles for foodservice purchasing and has led the University Healthsystems Consortium Food and Nutrition Council, representing foodservice directors in academic medical centers. Additionally, Julie is a strong advocate for supporting the next generation of leaders " dietetic students. She has served as a student mentor, routinely advises students of career choices and serves on the advisory boards for 2 dietetic programs. She graduated from the Ohio State University, Division of Medical Dietetics and received a Master of Science in Nutrition from OSU.
