MCH NA Community Forums

Good afternoon, As you know ODH kicked off its Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Needs Assessment (NA) process with a stakeholder survey which many of you completed. The purpose of the survey were to identify emerging health related tends and needs not being met across the state.  Thanks to everyone that completed a survey, we greatly appreciated your feedback. The survey results have been compiled and a summary fact sheet and full report are available at: In addition to the stakeholder survey, a client and family member survey was released on Tuesday, May 13, 2014. This survey will stay open until Tuesday, June 10, 2014. The survey is available at and we encourage you to share this information. ODH will compile a report from the information we collect and post it to our web site as well. Information from both survey's will be used in a prioritization process to help determine the top unmet health related needs across the state. The next step in the NA process is to conduct 10 Regional Community Based Forums around the state. An invitation with more information about each regional forum is located at Feel free to post the invitation in your organization and share it with others. Registration for a community forum is available by clicking here The information and perspectives you provide at a forum will guide the department in identifying the most critical MCH priorities and aligning MCH funding with those priorities for the five years beginning in October, 2015. Your participation is very important and we look forward to seeing you there! If you have any questions please contact Theresa Seagraves at:<>  614-466-4626.  Thanks
