The Scholarship Committee is now accepting applications for the George Eagle Scholarship!

UNDERGRADUATE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Students must be Ohio residents.
  • Students must be enrolled in a program leading to an undergraduate degree in Environmental Health or a related field as determined by the OEHA Board of Directors.
  • Students must have a sophomore, junior or senior standing in a baccalaureate program.
  • Whether attending school in Ohio or out of state, the student shall express the intent to become employed in environmental health in Ohio following graduation.

GRADUATE PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  •  An OEHA member in good standing for two consecutive years prior to applying for scholarship.
  • Registered Sanitarian or Sanitarian in Training in the State of Ohio.
  • Enrolled in an Environmental Health or Public Health graduate degree program or another graduate degree program approved by the Scholarship Committee which will contribute to the applicant’s development as an environmental health professional.
  • The College or University must be an accredited school of higher learning.
  • A personal interview may be required, as determined by the Scholarship Committee. 

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

A completed formal application must be received by February 28th for consideration for the award granted in April of each year.
