Dear Colleagues:

I would like to invite you to join us for the 2019 Northeast District Fall Educational Conference where we can share ideas, renew our professional friendships, and celebrate the field of public health at the Hilton Garden Inn, in Twinsburg.

The theme for the 2019 Northeast District Fall Educational Conference will be “Reading Between the Lines for Public Health”. The conference program will include a variety of topics that hope to engage and educate everyone.  This year’s conference will feature amazing speakers, hospitality rooms, exhibitors, George Eagle raffles, and on Tuesday night there will be a sit-down banquet. If you attend the banquet, there will be entertaining music provided by the Swamp Rattlers (blues/rock/country band). Promptly following dinner will be fun and activities in the hospitality rooms, so be sure to stick around for the excitement.

Our conference will offer 11.25 hours of continuing education for sanitarians, along with hours for wastewater operators, water operators, and pesticide license holders.  I would like to extend a special thanks to our hard working Northeast District Planning Committee, as well as our exhibitors and hospitality hosts who make our conference educational and fun!

This year the committee is planning a basket raffle to benefit the George Eagle Scholarship Fund. We will also be having our traditional 50/50 raffle.  These fundraisers have been a great success in the past but we need your continued support to help this worthy cause continue. Feel free to contact any of the planning committee members or me to donate items for the raffle.
