Wintersville Fire & Rescue
The Wintersville Fire & Rescue Department is currently hiring for Entry Level Firefighter/Paramedic positions. Candidates must complete the Wintersville Fire & Rescue Department’s application and submit required documentation to the Fire Chief.
Applications are available by request by emailing Chief Robert Herrington at chief@wintersvillefire.com. Starting salary of $45,968.00. The firefighter/paramedic works a 24/48 schedule based on a 48-hour work week.
Position also includes:
- Comprehensive medical coverage paid at 85% by the employer
- $100,000 life insurance
- uniforms provided along with a $200 boot allowance annually
- 10 holidays paid at time and a half
- 17 Kelly days, 2 personal days
- 2 vacation days after 1 year, and 5 vacation days after 2 years
- Pension benefits through Ohio Police and Fire Pension Fund
