Auble Funeral Homes, a family-owned and operated firm since 1907, is seeking a Funeral Director/Apprentice to serve in our two locations in Orrville and Rittman, Ohio. Professional business appearance and attire is expected. Candidate should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse population. As an Apprentice, you will gain valuable experience as you work alongside veteran funeral directors with nearly 100 years of combined experience. Applicants must have clean driving record and pass a background check. Day-to-day responsibilities would entail all aspects of funeral service, including, but not limited to: on-call removals (able to lift 100+lbs), embalming, arrangement conferences with families, directing a funeral service, dressing, casketing, cosmetics, and rotating on-call schedule.
