Job Fair at Convention

OFDA has a great opportunity for your funeral home to recruit potential employees.

During the annual convention, OFDA will host a mini-job fair.  Students from CCMS and PIMS along with apprentices and young funeral directors will be attending a presentation on Tuesday, May 16, from 10:00 – 11:00 am to hear speaker Caroline McGill, who will present “The Beginning of the End: Starting Out in Funeral Service.” The speaker and job fair will take place at the Funny Bone Comedy Club, 145 Easton Town Center.

We’ve carved out a few areas in a section of the club for you to connect with attendees one-on-one, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. Employers will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, as there are limited spaces available.  A nominal fee of $50 will be assessed to secure your table.

This service is free of charge and the packet will be  available on-site for interested candidates to take home.
