Obituary for William C. Hartwell

Father of Sean W. Hartwell, Funeral Director at Wappner Funeral Directors

William "Bill" C. Hartwell of Bucyrus passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020.

Bill married Dianne Sherer on July 2, 1966, and they celebrated almost 54 1/2 years together. He worked as the head of maintenance for Bucyrus City Schools for 35 years.

He is survived by his wife, Dianne; son, Sean Hartwell of Ontario; daughter, Brooke (Troy) Shealy of Chicago; grandchildren, Avery and Ian Shealy; and brother, Ted (Phyllis) Hartwell of Bowling Green, Ohio.

Honoring Bill's wishes there will be no services observed. Memorial contributions may to the Bucyrus Salvation Army, 224 E. Rennsselaer St., Bucyrus, Ohio 44820. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family.
