Apprentice Seminar
OFDA hosts an Apprentice Seminar once a year to help apprentices enter into the funeral profession as a licensee. Apprentices will learn from experts in key topics such as FTC Funeral Rule, VA & Social Security Benefits, Preneed, OSHA, and Department of Health. A representative from The State of Ohio Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors will be present to discuss the steps to be completed upon termination of ones apprenticeship.
The OFDA Education Committee has created an Apprentice Study Guide to help prepare apprentices to take the Ohio Laws and Rules Exam. The study guide includes practice questions for each section.
