QRTP Casework Policy and SACWIS Training

Presented by ODJFS's Office of Families and Children

Microsoft Teams

ODJFS OFC staff will be conducting a Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP) Casework Policy and SACWIS Training on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. via MS Teams Live Event.

This training will cover Ohio Administrative Code rules:

  • 5101:2-42-12 Assessment to determine a child’s placement into a qualified residential treatment program,
  • 5101:2-9-42 Qualified residential treatment program (QRTP), and
  • 5101:2-38-05.1 PCSA requirements for completing a family case plan and review when a child is placed in a qualified residential treatment program.

The training will provide an overview of the requirements for placing a child into a QRTP, including the assessment process, the family and permanency team, court approval, and the case plan.  Changes to SACWIS functionality in each of these areas will also be presented.

The intended audience for this training event is agency staff responsible for direct service caseworkers and supervisors who complete family case plans and placements.  The training would also be beneficial for agency staff who complete FCM reimbursability in preparation for the afternoon training “QRTP FCM Rules/Reimbursability with SACWIS Training”.

The event will be recorded for those who are unable to join live.

Those who submit their registration will receive a “pop-up” message containing the link to join the event.  Registrants should copy and paste the information into an appointment on their calendar for use on August 18th.
