Job Description:
Child Support Enforcement Agency (CSEA) Staff Attorney/Supervisor I The Champaign County Department of Job and Family Services is accepting resumes for the position of CSEA Staff Attorney/Supervisor I.
Minimum Qualifications:
Admission to the Ohio Bar per Section 4705.01 of the Ohio Revised Code.
Duties:
The primary purpose of the Attorney/Supervisor I position is to prepare various legal documents (e.g., legal briefs, memorandums, and pleadings; initial child support orders, modifications, interstates and paternity cases) as well as to participate in and conduct litigation processes related to child support cases. In addition, the incumbent advises agency employees on all legal matters including issues related to child support cases and directly supervises line staff relative to this position. The staff attorney will be a county employee and shall not perform outside domestic relations work. This position is overtime exempt.
