CMS Offers Quality Reporting Resources

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has released three educational resources for participation in the Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI). Coding for Quality: A Handbook for PQRI. Participation is intended to facilitate PQRI implementation for successful reporting. The 2007 PQRI Code Master is an Excel spreadsheet with a sequential list of all ICD-9-CM and CPT codes. The 2007 PQRI Fact Sheet provides an overview.
