Profession Mourns Death in Tulsa

Statement by OOA President Jennifer L. Gwilym, DO

(June 3, 2022) The Ohio Osteopathic Association once again grieves with Americans across the country for a community impacted by gun violence. This time, it was our own osteopathic family.
 
Stephanie Husen, DO, was among the four people who were shot and killed at a medical center in Tulsa. We offer our sincere condolences to her family, friends, colleagues, patients, and the entire osteopathic family.
 
We also extend deepest sympathies to the families of the other victims, Preston Phillips, MD, William Love, and Amanda Glenn.
