The OPA team is continuing to plan the 2026 OPA Innovation Summit – Midyear Reimagined, and I wanted to personally invite you to consider submitting a proposal to present during what I believe will be one of the most engaging parts of the meeting.

The Innovation Summit will be held on Friday, November 6, at Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio, and will feature a new format designed to showcase practical ideas that pharmacists can immediately apply in their own practice. We plan to introduce a series of 15-minute practice innovation sessions. These are designed to be concise, practical, and immediately applicable. Whether you have implemented a new clinical service, developed an innovative workflow, solved a common practice challenge, or have a patient case that offers valuable lessons, we would love to hear about it.

Our goal is simple: give attendees practical ideas they can take home and begin applying in their own practice.

Presentation themes include:

• Specialty Medications and Safety
• Remote Physiologic Monitoring
• Addressing Social Determinants of Health
• Clinical Guidelines 2026 Update

If you have been doing something that has made a difference in your practice, even if it is still evolving, I encourage you to submit a proposal. We are looking for real-world experiences, practical solutions, and lessons learned that can help colleagues across Ohio.

The submission process is brief, and proposals will be reviewed through a blinded process.
