The Spring Pharmacy Technician Education Seminar is a great way to earn up to 7 contact hours of continuing education credit, including 1 hour of pharmacy law and 1 hour of patient safety. The full day seminar will be held on Thursday, May 11 at the Makoy Center in Hilliard. The program is presented by the Ohio Pharmacists Foundation (OPF). The purpose of this seminar is to provide educational opportunities to specifically meet the needs of Ohio’s pharmacy technicians. In addition to pharmacy law and patient safety, other topics include celiac disease and the gluten-free diet, technician advancement and innovation, treatment of common skin conditions, diabetes, antimicrobial stewardship and transitions of care.
