Seeking Nominations for the State Board of Pharmacy

State Board Nominations Sought

Are you interested in helping to shape the practice of pharmacy in Ohio?  The Ohio Pharmacists Association is looking for pharmacists interested in serving on the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy.  Every year, the Governor appoints two pharmacists to serve four-year terms.  The Board’s primary purpose is to protect the citizens in Ohio by insuring safe drug distribution.

The practice of pharmacy is changing rapidly and your expertise is invaluable to the practice of pharmacy, as well as to the citizens of Ohio.  As a Board member, you will be involved in licensure, rule making, and disciplinary hearings.  You will be asked to evaluate new technology, standards of practice, and information distribution systems. January 2, 2015 is the deadline for submitting nominations to the OPA Board of Pharmacy Vacancy Subcommittee.
