Ohio Medicaid Director John McCarthy recently participated in a work group sponsored by the National Academy for State Health Policy (NASHP) to identify policy options for states to tackle rising drug prices. In a report released October 18, the work group identified eleven market-oriented strategies that are available to states to stabilize rising and unpredictable drug costs.
