Please remember the Foundation in your year-end giving
OPPF encourages scholarly work in Ohio by presenting annual research awards/recognition in three separate categories: General OPPA Members, Resident-Fellow OPPA Members and Medical Students.
One OPPF program in particular has benefited hundreds of Ohio medical students through the “Consider Psychiatry” initiative. This initiative provides quality enriched activities for students, allowing them to gain greater exposure to psychiatry and offering an opportunity to meet and network with practicing psychiatrists. Since its inception, students have been able to attend the OPPA Annual Psychiatric Update, at no charge, where they will be matched up with other psychiatrists for mentoring.
The generosity of members, like you, goes to support programs like the above aimed at encouraging medical students to consider and then choose psychiatry as their preferred specialty in residency.
