LORI CALCEI

Lori Calcei has served as the Portage County Recorder since January 2017.  A lifelong resident of Portage County, Lori brings decades of public service and financial management experience to the Recorder's Office.  Prior to being elected Recorder, she served for 12 years as the Fiscal Officer for Suffield Township and previously worked as Deputy Fiscal Officer for the Portage County District Library.

During her tenure, Lori has worked to modernize record-keeping processes by implementing electronic document recording, enhancing digital access to land records, and supporting programs designed to notify property owners of fraud.

Lori is a graduate of Mogadore High School and has completed leadership and public service programs through Leadership Portage County, the Ohio Township Academy, and the Jo Ann Davidson Leadership Institute.
