For all of business owners' frustrations with Gen Z workers — and there have been plenty, according to recent reports, with some even culminating in firings — it seems younger workers could be their most powerful advocates for a strong office culture.
That is according to a new report from Indeed, which found that employees between the ages of 18 and 34 “champion traditional office culture more than any other age group.”
These younger employees are eager to interact with their colleagues, and not just over Slack huddles. A whopping 91 percent believe that company offsites “boost engagement,” and even more — 95 percent — say the same about holiday parties.
