Marketing Communications Manager

Position Summary:

AmericanHort seeks a Marketing Communications Manager responsible for developing, managing, and executing AmericanHort’s marketing and communication strategies.

This position will be responsible for leading day-to-day marketing and communication operations for the organization. This person will be responsible for helping the association reach its membership goals and organizational objectives. This includes the development and execution of communications strategies, goals, and messaging consistent with the AmericanHort mission, vision, and brand.

The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate initiative, professionalism, organization, and attention to detail and excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask. The Marketing Communications Manager must be excellent at verbal and written communication and demonstrate the ability to develop and implement mass communications campaigns and activities. He or she must be a self-starter who is skilled at working independently, as well as part of a team.

This is a full-time position. The position will work closely with the marketing and communications, advocacy, and events departments virtually or in-person. The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. AmericanHort offers a competitive benefits package and a flexible work environment. Some travel is expected.
