Q2 Workshop | Knowledge is Power: Guns, Drugs & the #MeToo Movement

With the ever-changing legal landscape at both the state and federal level, it is crucial that employment policies and procedures are continuously updated. This session will provide insight into three areas of interest and the changes that have occurred at state and federal levels and how they may impact your organization’s policies and procedures.

 Attendees will walk away with insights on:

• The impact of Ohio's concealed carry "parking lot" law
• Ohio's medical marijuana and ban-the-box laws
• Understanding the requirements for navigating reasonable accommodation law
• The importance of ensuring a discrimination and harassment –free environment in the wake of the #MeToo movement, and
• The top employment policies you should have in place and why.

Credit Hours

• As a CAE Approved Provider educational program related to the CAE exam content outline, this program may be applied for 3 credits toward your CAE application or renewal professional development requirements.
