April 30 is ASAE's Power of A Awards Deadline

The awards were created to showcase the amazing work associations do

April 30 is the deadline to submit applications for the American Society of Association Executives' (ASAE) Power of A Awards, which showcase the association community’s most valuable contributions to society on the local, national and global levels. Every day, associations around the country sponsor programs, activities and initiatives that drive our nation’s and the world economy and improve society.

The Power of A Awards were created to showcase this amazing work. As an association professional, you are part of a larger community of innovators, communicators, volunteers, mentors and researchers, whose expertise serves as the cornerstone of our global economy. Associations tap into the power of millions to create a stronger America and world; this is The Power of A.

Last year, more than 1,000 association executives joined ASAE for The Power of A Summit Awards Dinner to celebrate Power of A Award winners. Winners demonstrate the outstanding accomplishments to enrich lives, create a competitive workforce, prepare society for the future, drive innovation and make a better world.

To hear past winners’ stories and learn ideas for your own applications, watch ASAE’s Facebook Live session on the Power of A Awards. During the March 27 Facebook Live, Barbara Byrd Keenan, CEO of the Endocrine Society, Paul Pomerantz, FASAE, CAE, CEO of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and Karlie Frank, Coordinator for Communications and Public Affairs at the National Retail Federation, shared how the Power of A Awards impacted their programs and tips to build a strong application.

There is a $50 application fee that is waived for organizations located outside the Washington, D.C. area. Apply for the Power of A Awards today. For more information, email publicpolicy@asaecenter.org.
