New York Times: Columbus Is On The Rise

And the city is not looking back

A travel writer with the The New York Times sang the praises of Columbus in a recent profile, part of his tour of all the cities in the newspaper's list of "52 Places to Go in 2019."

Columbus is no cow town, Sebastian Modak assured readers in the March 26 feature. He described Columbus as a city that is looking to the future with hip restaurants, innovative transportation plans and a unique, thriving local art scene.

"The capital of Ohio, one of the fastest growing cities in the United States, lives largely in the future tense," he wrote. "Unlike many former industrial hubs in the Midwest, Columbus feels like a city on the move."
