ASSOCIATIONS REPORT DISRUPTION IN BUSINESS OPERATIONS

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, organizations are facing a new “normal.” For many, daily operations have changed, associations included. In the Association Impact Snapshot survey from the ASAE Research Foundation, respondents pointed out a laundry list of day-to-day work activities that have been affected by the global health crisis.

Among associations responding to the survey from March 30 to April 2, the most commonly disrupted daily activities were the solicitation of sponsorship and donor funding, the membership renewal process, strategic planning, and marketing email campaigns. The reported level of disruption to the workplace varied: 49 percent of respondents cited a moderate level of disruption, while 17 percent reported an extreme level of disruption.
