The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake reopened today Friday, June 5, welcoming back guests for a much-deserved leisure getaway in a safe, clean and comfortable environment. Nestled on Lake Erie’s shore, The Lodge offers guests the opportunity to get away from it all with an abundance of open space and activities, as well as enhanced safety and health standards to make it a delightful stay.

A great, drivable getaway, The Lodge offers activities for every age. Explore Geneva State Park on foot, grab a front row seat to a spectacular sunrise or sunset over Lake Erie, discover nearby wineries and attractions or simply bask in the exhilaration of a much-deserved break.

The Lodge welcomes guests back with favorites that include indoor and outdoor dining options at Horizons Restaurant and Lounge, golf cart rentals, the indoor pool, and workout room. Wine shuttles are set to open early summer. Pack the car, hit the road and make the trip to Geneva-on-the-Lake where summer fun for all ages awaits.

“The Lodge is here to help make each guest’s stay safe, happy and healthy, with the safety and well-being of our guests and employees our number one priority," said The Lodge General Manager Charlene Horgan. "We want our guests to rest assured that we are taking the necessary steps to ensure that their future stay is both a safe and enjoyable experience.

Spearheaded by our parent company, Delaware North, The Lodge has instituted the Rest Assured program to help keep our guests and employees safe, Horgan said.

The Lodge has re-engineered its operating procedures to minimize contact risk and bolstered hygiene protocols to exceed best-practice guidelines of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA) Stay Safe Program.  Its new set of standards and procedures include:  

• Upholding current social distancing guidelines
• Enhanced cleaning and sanitation protocols
• New 48-hour cancellation policy
• Courtesy sanitation kits in guest rooms and removal of communal objects
• Additional hand-sanitizing stations
