COVID-19 Update: 8,707 New Cases Reported Today

Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 8,707 new cases of COVID-19 and 395 new hospitalizations. The agency also reported 160 additional deaths.

ODH also reported 1,752,508 confirmed cases, 27,011 deaths and 88,960 hospitalizations. The agency also reported 1,594,843 presumed recoveries and indicated approximately 6,824,317 Ohioans have received at least one dose of the vaccine. This figure represents approximately 58 percent of Ohioans - a very low figure compared to numbers nationwide.
