COVID-19 Update: 8,072 New Cases Reported Today

Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 8,072 new cases of COVID-19 and 313 new hospitalizations. The agency did not report any additional deaths.

ODH also reported 1,776,439 confirmed cases, 27,371 deaths and 90,045 hospitalizations. The agency also reported 1,618,183 presumed recoveries and indicated approximately 6,851,140 Ohioans have received at least one dose of the vaccine. This figure represents approximately 58.6 percent of Ohioans - a very low figure compared to numbers nationwide.
