COVID-19 Update: 8,601 Newly Confirmed Cases Today

Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 8,601 new COVID-19 cases and 369 new hospitalizations. The agency did not report any additional deaths.

ODH also reported 2,595,504 confirmed cases, 33,537 deaths and 108,291 hospitalizations. The agency also reported 2,305,731 presumed recoveries and indicated approximately 7,173,109 Ohioans have received at least one dose of the vaccine. This figure represents 61 percent of Ohioans - a low figure compared to numbers nationwide.
