New OSMA Strategic Plan In Progress

2020–2023 Here We Come!

Time flies! Having reached the end of the current three year strategic plan (2016-2019), the OSMA Council used its summer meeting to engage in future strategic planning. After reviewing accomplishments as well as unfinished tasks in the current plan, the Council set future priority issues for the OSMA for 2020-2023.

The OSMA will focus its efforts on:

• Sustainability

• Advocacy

• Healthier Ohio

• Physician Well-Being

• Professionalism and Public and Population Health

• Governance and Operations

• Brand Awareness: Communications/Public Relations/Marketing

OSMA staff members will recommend action steps in each of these issue areas and Council will review and approve a final plan at its October 2019 meeting.
