About the Position:
Dynotec seeks a motivated Professional Surveyor to assist the department manager on the day-to-day activities of the department. The Professional Surveyor will provide technical leadership, QA/QC, and project management. This important position will be responsible for coordinating the field work with field staff, reviewing base mapping, and performing other survey department duties directed by the survey department manager.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with coordinating and overseeing daily field and office survey efforts.
• QA/QC field data, import, analyze and adjust survey field data.
• Coordination with other department staffs and clients
• Respond to client’s questions regarding survey works.
• Prepare survey legal descriptions and plats/exhibits for boundary surveys, topographic surveys, or easements.
• Calculate roadway right-of-way and property lines.
• Assist with prepare of budgets and proposals for clients. Communicate project budgets and schedules to team members to ensure project profitability and milestone dates are being met.

Qualifications / Skills:
• 5+ years of survey experience
• Must have your Professional Surveyor (PS) licensure
• Must have a positive work attitude and ability to work safely and efficiently when managing multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills to articulate technical concepts at all levels.
• Exhibits strong organizational and time management skills to be able to recognize, prioritize, and execute critical deadlines
• Models a strong work ethic and is enthusiastic about learning and development opportunities
• Client management experience including defining the problems, defining short term and long-term objectives. • Strong computer skills are required. Experience in MS Office is required.
• Working knowledge of MicroStation Open Roads Designer, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and / or Trimble Business Center is a plus.
