Messiah College

The GRADUATE PROGRAM IN COUNSELING at Messiah College invites applications for a full-time term-tenure track position in the counseling program: school counseling track. Candidates with counselor education training with additional expertise in school counseling; including school counseling certification and contemporary school counseling experience.   The Messiah College graduate program in counseling is a growing program which is taught primarily in an online format. Faculty in the program prioritize collegiality while striving to be excellent teachers and scholars who love working with and mentoring students.

Ph.D. in Counselor Education preferred, but ABD considered. Experience and expertise in school counseling is required.  Preference will be given to those who graduated from a CACREP program and are certified as a school counselor. Candidates are required to profess Christian faith, to commit to the mission of Messiah College, and to exhibit evidence of intercultural competencies. Preference will also be given to candidates who demonstrate excellence in teaching and scholarship, have experience in the appropriate field, and have previously taught in an online format.

Starting Date for Position: Fall 2019
