Crews Save Cornville Woman Going into Heart Attack
CORNVILLE -- Verde Valley Fire/rescue crews chalked up a "win' Tuesday afternoon when a 63-year-old woman at Cornville's Oak Creek School had a heart attack, but was saved by the fast action of firefighters.
The woman said that she had no prior signs of a heart condition. Reportedly, the woman looked good, but called for help about 5:30 p.m. when she started having chest pains. Crews convinced her to go to the hospital and she went into cardiac arrest as they were preparing to go.
