About a week before my 15th birthday, I remember waking up randomly, and noticed I couldn't breathe, my brother luckily was sleeping in my room that night because we watched a film together and fell asleep, so I was able to wake him with my last breaths, he asked my mum to ring an ambulance but she didn't believe me, she thought I was attention seeking and said go to bed, my brother thought something was definitely wrong but she wouldn't let him ring for help. I then opened my front door frantically gasping for air, but none was received. I then fell to the floor looking at the wall, knowing I was going to die, but wasn't scared probably because I knew there was nothing I could do. The next thing I knew, I was in a hospital, doctors said I made a remarkable recovery and I was discharged within four days. I was told I died three times by my mum, who to this day although I am thankful for being given a fourth chance at life I will never fully forgive her for that night. I am now 19 I studied three years at Thanet College in England, Kent, and plan to go to university. Value life as you don't know when it will be taken from you.
