Speakers Bureau

microphoneThe Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association is pleased to offer a resource to national, state and local organizations, hospitals, civic groups, schools, companies and other groups interested in hearing from experienced, excellent speakers on a variety of topics related to sudden cardiac arrest.

SCAA is dedicated to increasing awareness of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) and advocating for national, state and local solutions to save more lives, including advancing CPR/AED education and increasing public access to CPR, defibrillation and implanted defibrillators. SCAA members welcome opportunities to advance knowledge of SCA and to encourage public policy change and community programs aimed at saving the lives of SCA victims.

SCAA will work with you to develop a topic that meets your needs and to identify an appropriate speaker. For more information about the SCAA Speakers Bureau and to discuss how we might assist your group, please contact us via email or phone - info@suddencardiacarrest.org or 1-855-317-7222.

Fees
The Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association is a 501(c)(3) charity that relies on contributions to our Speakers Bureau, as well as other donations and grants to support a full range of programs and services, including CPR/AED education and training, materials development and information sharing and public policy advocacy. SCAA will work with you to determine a recommended contribution level, taking into consideration the size of the requesting organization, nonprofit or for-profit status, type and expected size of audience and other relevant circumstances.

Additionally, the requesting organization will be responsible for reimbursement of the speaker's travel, lodging and meal expenses.

For state and local events, the Speakers Bureau attempts to identify appropriate speakers that are in geographic proximity to the speaking location to control the speaker's travel and lodging expenses.

Speaker Evaluation and Feedback
SCAA intends to provide excellent speakers who meet your needs. After a SCAA-referred speaker has made a presentation, we would appreciate hearing back from the requesting organization to provide feedback and comments so that we may ensure quality service. A representative of the requesting organization will be asked to complete a Speakers Bureau Feedback Form.
